DrugsSquare.com is one of the fastest-growing internet pharmacies around the world that sells both prescription and OTC drugs at affordable rates to their customers. The website is neat and clean and the layout used by the owner looks professional and uncluttered. They also claimed on their website that they have over 7 years of experience in selling medical products and offer 100% customer satisfaction. There are plenty of lofty claims made throughout the website, which prompted us to review the website. Read below to know what we found during our investigation.
|Name of Organisation||Drugstore Square|
|Licenses, Certificates and Approvals|
|Live Chat Option||yes|
The drugstore’s domain was initially purchased on 4th September 2012 according to its publicly available data and the license will expire on 4th September 2022. This means the pharmacy is almost a decade old and usually, such pharmacies are mostly reliable, but here, we need to check other details also to be completely sure about its authenticity.
The trust rating of this drugstore is only 1% on Scam Adviser suggesting there are plenty of security issues within the pharmacy. The owner is hidden along with all the other Whois details, which is a sign of a potential rogue business. The origin of this drugstore is identified as India, where several rogue pharmacies originated in the past. Both the phone number and the email address given on the website are fake and inactive as they did not respond when we contacted them.
The drugstore is not regulated by any governing body around the world including the CIPA and the Pharmacy Checker. The pharmacy is also banned in the USA from selling its products by the local regulator NABP. This means all their drugs and other products are not approved for human use and may contain harmful ingredients dangerous to human health. The drugstore is also listed as a rogue business by the Legit Script as the drugstore did not meet their minimum criteria.
The drugstore sells both prescription and OTC drugs for men at its online store, but it only covers a handful of diseases and health conditions. Some of its popular drug categories are:
✔ Asthma, Arthritis
✔ Bladder Disorder
✔ Cancer, Diabetes
✔ Hepatitis, HIV
You need to have a valid prescription to order their prescription drugs, unlike OTC drugs that can be bought without a prescription at their online store.
The prices are on the cheaper side but not overly cheap like most other rogue pharmacies running online. They are also giving some good deals and discounts on every order placed o their website to both new and returning customers. However, there is no quality control certificate from the FDA or equivalent on the website to suggest these are usable products with no harmful ingredients.
You can pay via all the major debit and credit cards from AMEX, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, etc. along with telegraphic transfers. There is also a Bitcoin icon on the website suggesting they also support crypto payments as well. However, there is no valid SSL certificate on the platform to protect user personal data, so the chances of fraudulent activities are higher.
The country allegedly ships to over 150 countries, but not in India, their allegedly home country. This makes it quite strange as the home country is usually the first country any company would like to serve. They also charge a flat shipping charge of $25, but no mention of the shipping options on their website.
There is no testimonials page on the website so there is no other way to read testimonials posted by their past customers and get to know about their experiences.
The number of DrugsSquare.com reviews on Trust Pilot is the only one and is a positive five-star review posted way back in 2018. No other review posted to date and the one posted also looks fishy and untrustworthy as it is the only comment posted by that reviewer.
It is highly disappointing to see a pharmacy that is almost a decade old turn into a scam business instead of offering genuine products and reliable service. The pharmacy looked fishy right from the beginning thanks to all the tall claims made on the website. Our concerns were proved right and the pharmacy is indeed a scam business and not a reliable one. We give DrugsSquare.com only 1 out of 5 stars based on our inspection.
